"Organizing Your Life and Getting Rid of Clutter." I'm liking it, because I can listen to it while doing other stuff, rather than having to stop what I'm doing to sit down and read something.

It's making a difference, more than Flylady has (for me, anyway), because I'm not trying to change my entire MO, you know? There are some Flylady routines that have become second-nature to me (dressing to the shoes, for example), but for the most part, it's too much of a lifechange for me to adopt her strategies all the time. What they talk about on these CDs is less of a shock, somehow.

The day after Christmas, I threw three huge bags of stuff out of my sewing/scrapbooking/storage area. I actually let some sentimental things go, and I am NOT sorry, which is bizarre. For the first time in MONTHS, I can walk around in there.

And my kitchen and main floor of my house have been clean for 5 days. But I'm not spending time cleaning it every day. It just seems easier, somehow, even though my dishwasher decided to die on Christmas Day so I've been handwashing everything. But my countertops are clear. Weird!Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14480410013930435950noreply@blogger.com
