Works-For-Me Wednesday



I got a great dieting tip that I've been using like crazy. As soon as you are done eating, go brush your teeth. Not only will your dentist be pleased, but most of the time, the taste of the toothpaste will remind you not to snack. Works for me! And did you see my weight ticker up top? Yes, I lost 2.5 pounds this week, even with Thanksgiving. Go!!! :)

Don't it feel good? Pretty soon, you won't even want the junk (or the excess food) anymore as you watch your pants get looser.

But I eat it regardless of the bad taste. Maybe I brush my teeth with something totally gross?

Congratulations!! Keep up the good work!! And, I could see how the toothpaste would work... I can't stand to eat with the taste of toothpaste in my mouth!

Great tip, Rachel! Gee, where did you get that idea? My hubby said to me, "Rachel has a good idea that I've used for a while, to just brush your teeth right away. Then you don't want to eat more." I said, "Yeah? Well, she got the idea from me. Did I get it from you?" We'll never know. Anyway, congratulations.

I've heard that before, too. I suggested it at my weight loss group at the Y months ago. No one had ever heard that.

It's a great tip. I should use it more!
